Sublimation printing is a high-quality process that uses heat and special inks to transfer vibrant, full-color designs onto polyester fabrics and specially coated hard surfaces. The ink transforms into a gas when heated, bonding permanently with the material. Unlike other printing methods, sublimation creates prints that won’t crack, peel, or fade over time because the design becomes part of the fabric or coating rather than sitting on top.

What is Sublimation Printing Good For?

Sublimation printing is ideal for:
✅ Custom Apparel – Works best on white or light-colored polyester garments (at least 65% polyester content for best results).
✅ Mugs & Drinkware – Must have a special sublimation coating to accept the print.
✅ Signs & Plaques – Works on coated aluminum, acrylic, and other sublimation-ready materials.
✅ Accessories & Gifts – Keychains, coasters, mousepads, and other coated surfaces designed for sublimation.

What Sublimation Does NOT Work On:

❌ Cotton or Dark Fabrics – Since sublimation ink dyes the fabric itself, it does not show up properly on dark or non-polyester materials.
❌ Regular Surfaces – Items like uncoated ceramic, glass, or metal will not accept sublimation prints unless specially treated.
❌ Non-Heat-Resistant Materials – Items must withstand high temperatures (usually around 375-400°F) during the printing process.

Printing Process & How It Works

1. Design Preparation: Your artwork must be in high resolution and mirror-flipped before printing.
2. Printing: The design is printed onto special sublimation paper using heat-activated ink.
3. Heat Pressing: The paper is placed on the material, and heat (along with pressure) is applied to turn the ink into gas, which then bonds with the surface.
4. Final Product: Once cooled, the ink becomes part of the material, leaving a smooth, durable, and vibrant design.

Size Limitations & Special Orders
